Competition are now stiffer in work because highly skilled people can already move to their country and may take their jobs away from them. These highly skilled people may not even have to leave their homes to do their jobs with the advent of virtual work afforded by globalization. Thus, they have to compete now with younger and more skilled competitors at work and also with machines making their work more precarious.
